????The 2017 Qingdao Forum on International Standardization was held from June 28 to June 29. According to the latest motor train unit compiling rules, new-type autonomous motor train units all adopted the model started with “CR”. “CR” is the abbreviation of China Railway and also refers to the China standard motor train unit series product platform of different speed levels. “400” in the model means the speed level, representing that the trial speed of this motor train unit can reach 400 km/h or above and the continuous operation speed is 350km/h. “A” and “B” are enterprise identification code representing the manufacturing enterprise. “F” is technological type code representing separate power motor train unit. “A” is CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. with red locomotive. “B” is CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. with yellow locomotive.

????As early as on July 15, the China standard motor train units respectively manufactured by the CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. and CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. met at the speed of 420 km/h on Zhengzhou-Xuzhou Railway Line. ????The State Intellectual Property Office of the PRC has recently approved Qingdao to become one of the first batches of national powerful cities in intellectual property rights. The construction period is from June 2017 to June 2020.

????The State Intellectual Property Office of the PRC started the assessment of the construction of national powerful cities in intellectual property rights since last year. 29 qualified cities in total made the application. After presentations and expert review, 10 cities including Qingdao, Guangzhou and Wuhan have been selected as the first batches of powerful cities in intellectual property rights to be constructed for the reason that “their comprehensive strength in intellectual property rights is more advantageous”.

????Qingdao is building Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center

????The China Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center is already under full construction. As scheduled it will be put into operation in 2018. As the convention and exhibition economic complex of the fifth generation in circum-Bohai region, the project will effectively offset the inadequacy of convention and exhibition facilities in Qingdao and play a promotion role in building Qingdao into a famous convention and exhibition city in Northeast Asia and an important high-end convention and exhibition destination.

????Located to the south of Road Huoju, Qingdao New and High-tech Zone, the west of Road Gui Hua Xi No.6, the east of the extension of Road Qingwei and the north of Road Jingsan, the Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center will cover a total construction area of 488,000 square meters.
